HDGraph 1.4 on Linux and Mac ??? |

Many people are asking for HDGraph on Macintosh... Good news : it will perhaps be available soon, as I discovered that Mono is available on Mac (Mono is a cross platform, open source .NET development framework). So I just began to make HDGraph compatible with Mono. It's quite a long task, but if it succeeds, HDGraph will work on Windows, Linux and Mac. Even if the "look and feel" will probably never look like a "native" Linux or Mac software. A screenshot of HDGraph on Linux ? Here it is... but remember : it's not final, there're still lots of "visual" bugs...

A fresh screenshot of the future version 1.3, and a short preview of the new features.
HDGraph 1.3 overview
The primary purpose of HDGraph 1.3 is to improve the application reliability during the analysis of big systems (those with a big number of files and directories), and particularly the "draw phase". Once the files of disk are listed, HDGraph must build "the graph" (the image). This phase is now asynchronous, in order to fix the "application don't reply" effect.
Moreover, the version 1.3 gives a complete list of files or folders that HDGraph was unable to scan. A way to be sure that the graph is the nearest to the reality.
Those new features allow to prepare the future, since a new scan engine is planed for a version after the 1.3... But it's a probably too early to speak about that...
